She escapes with help. She was originally going to Paris, France by boat. She meets a stowaway boy named Thing. Can Thing and she escape alive, and beat the scientist and save her parents?

From the review this reminds me a little of the French animated movie “April and the Extraordinary World”. I’ll have to check this one out.
