A King’s Guide

How-To Guides for Fiendish Rulers

Written by Catherine Chambers, Illustrated by Ryan Pentney

A King’s Guide gives information about rulers in Medieval times as if it were a handbook on how to be a fiendish ruler. The facts seem accurate but are shared in a creative and interesting way. The illustrations are bright and colorful and add some humor to the book. I would recommend this book for an elementary or junior high library. Students who like learning about Medieval times will enjoy learning from this book.
