The zoo is a place many students are familiar with, and they often request animal and zoo books, so I was excited for this new title. I really liked the illustrations, they do a great job telling the story. I liked the idea of the book, but some of the alliterations felt too forced. The verbs used in the book make it a fun read aloud for students. They would have a lot of fun acting as the animals.
