Ugly

A Beautiful True Story About One Very Ugly Kid

Written by Robert Hoge

Ugly is true story about a boy born with a tumor the size of a tennis ball in the middle of his face. His mother, upon seeing him, did not want to take him home from the hospital as a baby. He goes on to tell stories about his life, the surgeries he has had to correct his face, and his interactions with others. It’s a very interesting book, and is inspiring that this boy has such determination and self confidence! Great story.
