With a strong message of determination and believing in yourself against all odds, this book has a big message for young readers. Reminiscent of Katy and the Big Snow and The Little Engine that Could, The Little Snowplow is a modern rendition for today’s young children. The illustrations are colorful and cute. This story is similar to “The Little Engine that Could.” It reminds us to work hard, expect the best, and don’t give up. The other trucks all think the little snowplow will be too small to plow the snow when winter comes. He works hard to prove to them that he can get the job done. Kids will enjoy the pictures and message especially when their is snow around. Lora Koehler is a librarian and Utah local. This is her first picture book.

  1. When Lora visited our school in May to promote the summer reading program, she told us she is working on a second book.
