As he hunts and hunts for this book, he starts reading the books rather than just opening them. He hunts his entire life, grows old and wise, and realizes the importance of the search for “The Book of Gold.” He passes the knowledge on to a young boy he encounters in the library in hopes of sparking a love of reading in him too.
