Forest’s First Home

Wild Child, #1

Written by Tara Zann, Illustrated by Dan Widdowson

While on a camping trip, Olive encounters a young boy named Forest who lives the woods and is a “Wild Child.” She convinces her father to let Forest “The Wild Child” come home to live with them. Olive has to teach Forest to act like a regular boy instead of a wild animal. But Olive has a very proper grandmother that wont approve of Forest, and her brother keeps sabotaging her efforts to help Forest become a regular boy.

The illustrations throughout the book are so cute, and Olive is a sweet character that you love. This book was a super quick read and was entertaining throughout. I really liked it.
