The Homework Strike

Written by Greg Pincus

Gregory K. is in his first year of middle school, which he figured would be hard, but he had no idea how time-consuming and overwhelming the amount of homework would be. He gets to the point where he has had enough and decides to go on a homework strike. He goes to class and participates while trying to keep his grades. His challenge is to get other students to join him in his quest for a little bit of free time after school to do some of the things he loves to do, like write poetry.
The premise is a fun one but because the title tells you what will happen in the story. I found myself getting impatient with how long it took to actually get to the strike.
