Yes, I picked out this book because of the title! I wanted something light, funny and maybe magical. This delivered. Oscar Indigo is an average boy with dreams of winning at baseball. He comes from a humble situation at home. His neighbor is an old widow who depends on him to help but he is willing to do so. Somehow, he was able to get hold of an old pocket watch that can stop time, which he uses to help his little league baseball team win their first game in the finals. This throws the universe out of balance and he must fix it.

I enjoyed this book. There are mean kids, good kids, mean adults and good adults. Good and bad always make the problems intense. It has dinosaurs, pirates, baseball ghosts, and even a game from the 1930 is replayed just to make sure it was meant to happen the way it did. This is easy enough for a fourth grader to read but I liked it and so did my husband.
