Og misses his pond life but seems to adjust to his new friends in Room 26. Like the Humphrey series, Og delves into a variety of subjects in a way that even the youngest readers can appreciate the lessons being taught. Aside from friendship, the big lesson this time is, wildlife and wildlife as pets. In Chapter 8 we learn all about the conflict of pets To Stay, Go, I Don’t Know… all done in a way that encourages children to think and research. Who knew a frog’s life could be so interesting?
