Frog and Beaver, by Simon James

Frog and Beaver
Written and Illustrated by Simon James

A very cute book about a beaver that shows up at a river where some ducks, some voles, and a frog live. Frog lives under a leaf and each morning he looks out at the beautiful river. All the animals are so happy living by the river. Then beaver starts to build a dam so big that it stops the water from going where the other animals live, the animals are not happy. They try and tell Beaver but he doesn’t listen. Then the dam breaks and ruins all the animal’s homes.
Beaver then learns that bigger is not always better and that he can be very helpful to the other animals when it comes to rebuilding their homes. He also builds a much better home for frog.
