Spring After Spring: How Rachel Carson Inspired the Environmental Movement
By Stephanie Roth Sisson

I love this book! Beautiful and cute illustrations! I was immediately drawn to it. This true story is told and illustrated in a way that even the youngest readers will enjoy and appreciate the amazing creatures and world around us. It is an excellent book to introduce Rachel Carson and her impact to make our world and environment safer from poisons. We get to see Rachel as a curious young person that likes to draw and write. We get to see her interest and excitement about the animals and environment around her. We get to see her grow up, head off to college, change her studies from being a writer to a scientist and then start her career. She followed her passions and made a difference for good in our world. Wonderful short read!
