The Similars, by Rebecca Hanover

The Similars
Written by Rebecca Hanover

Six genetically-cloned teens get the chance of a lifetime to go to Darkwood Academy, an elusive boarding school. There’s just one hitch. Their originals also go to the school. Except for Levi, whose original died mysteriously this summer. Enter Emma, former girlfriend of Levi’s original. Heartbroken by his death, she is reluctant to befriend the similar, but soon finds herself pulled into their world. She soon finds out, however, that their creator is a former student at Darkwood and has dark, ulterior motives that could destroy Emma’s world as she knows it. Will she be able to stop their creator? Are the clones’ motives as dark as their creator? Intense, dark, and complex, the plot draws the reader into the story hook, line, and sinker. The characters are engaging, likable, and mysterious. The author’s writing style is smooth and easy to follow. Fans of dark realistic fiction, mystery, and romance will enjoy reading this book.
