The Bookwanderers

Pages & Co., #1

Written by Anna James

How would it be if you could actually talk to the characters from your favorite book? Better yet, what if you could actually live the book? This gift can be good or bad depending on the book. This is a lesson learned from Tilly Pages as she discovers her ability to book wander. Tilly lives with her grandma and grandpa at the Pages book store, but there is a special secret hidden there. Follow Tilly as she tries to make real friends, dicovers a few character friends,
and tries to learn more about her mom who mysteriously disappeared one day.

This book is full of fun conversations with Alice in Wonderland, Anne of Green Gables, and other characters as they pop in and out of the bookstore. The main characters of the book are also well-developed . The book is full of fun twists and the end is very good. No spoilers here, though.
I would highly recommend it for kids ages 9 to 11.
