Birdie has just moved to Idaho with her mother, to live with her Grandma, after the death of her father. It’s about first love, second love, friendship, grief, and healing. Lovely characters whose actions and reactions are authentic and make you feel all the feels. Told in beautiful verse. And why am I just now learning that Eileen Spinelli is married to Jerry Spinelli? Cawww!
