Albert Einstein Was a Dope? (Wait! What?)

Written by Dan Gutman, Illustrated by Alison Steinfeld

Wait! What? Albert Einstein was a Dope? is a creative and entertaining biography for children. The author gives a good overview of the life of Albert Einstein but also includes obscure, fascinating facts such as: after Albert Einstein died and his body was cremated, his brain was preserved. In fact, his brain was cut in half and stored in two cookie jars! The information is shared as as a dialogue between two siblings, Paige and Turner. The dialogue is humorous and meshes very well with the graphic novel-like illustrations. This fun new “Wait! What?” entry is sure to engage and educate its readers.
