Wednesday is a grade school student with a penchant for making lists and pursuing entrepreneurial ideas. With the help of her brother and best friend, she uses a great idea to get herself out of a bad situation but then discovers that her solution is a new problem. Written to specifically include children of mixed race and non-traditional families, this book is just a fun week in the life of a budding young visionary. The illustrations are appealing and the story moves along quickly. Hopefully all readers will recognize the problem with destroying a library book.
