The Way of the Hive

A Honey Bee’s Story

Written and Illustrated by Jay Hosler

I really liked this book because it combined two of my favorite things, science and graphic novels. In the book, I learned that bees don’t use their stingers to protect themselves, they use it to protect their hive. One thing I thought was interesting was that there was a larvae that didn’t want to become a bee. It made me think of kids who don’t want to become adults. I would recommend this book because it’s a really fun book, it teaches you different things about animals. It teaches you about something, but it’s also a fun book to read.
