The Last Windwitch

Written by Jennifer Adam

I enjoyed reading The Last Windwitch. It was a book filled with descriptive text, magic, adventure, and an interesting storyline. The little girl Brida was told that she was found on Mother Magdi’s doorstep and spends her young life learning hedgemagic. But things are changing and the evil queen of crows is about to become a part of her life. She finds out that she has more friends and enemies than she knew before, and that she has more power and importance than she ever believed. I think that the older kids in my elementary library will really enjoy reading this book. It is a book that makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens. I will definitely be displaying this book on my shelves for the kids to find and read!
