Blob

Written and Illustrated by Anne Appert

Blob is a very cute book with a common scenario told in a simple way, but with some big words that would need to be explained. Blob is talking to the narrator throughout the story and the narrator keeps calling him Bob, but that is not his name. He is also being asked what he should be and because Blob can be anything, he can’t decide. He tries many different things, but what will he become?

This book would be perfect to go with a lesson about being yourself and speaking up for yourself. I would recommend this book to all ages. It may be simple, but the lesson behind it is important.
