Bluebird

Written by Sharon Cameron

In 1946, Eva Gerst and her sister Brigit arrive in New York City. The two German refugees are taken in by the American Friends Service Committee. Eva holds the secret to Project Bluebird, and both the Soviet and United States governments would do anything to have those secrets. In 1945, 16-year-old Inge is the daughter of an infamous Nazi doctor who led experiments on prisoners at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. When the course of the war changes, Inge finds herself in trouble. This is an intense, intriguing plot that’s full of twists and turns. The two plot lines are well marked, making the journey and the unveiling of the connection between the story lines easy to follow. The characters are multi-faceted and mysterious. This is a novel that will keep readers guessing what’s going on. This is a must-read for fans of Sharon Cameron and historical fiction.
