A Most Agreeable Murder

Written by Julia Seales

At the autumnal ball, Edmund Croaksworth is courting Beatrice’s sister, Louisa. If the two can hit it off and get engaged, then they will have financial security. Their disgusting cousin, Martin Grub, is set to inherit everything. When Edmund drops dead at the ball under mysterious circumstances, it’s up to Beatrice to solve the mystery before it’s too late. Will she succeed?

The plot is well-developed and intriguing. The characters are true to a Jane Austen-style novel and are likable. Fans of mystery, Jane Austen novels, Clue, and historical fiction will enjoy reading this book.
