A Bed of Stars is a story about a bonded father-son relationship and their open-ended adventure in nature as the two of them take a trip to camp out in the desert. The narrative and essence of this book really hones in on something special–our place in the universe, the connectedness of everything, and the comfort it can bring to an anxious child. It is a comforting book with illustrations in soothing colors of the desert landscape. This book would be a good read for a child with bedtime anxiety.
