A Countdown to Survival

One Tiny Treefrog will be a nice addition to the Easy Nonfiction section of my library. The story follows 10 tadpoles as they grow (and decrease in numbers) until there is one tiny tree frog left. It was interesting to learn about the development stages from egg to frog, while also introducing more of the flora and fauna in Costa Rica. The illustrations were bright and colorful. This is a book that will be enjoyed in our library for a long time.
