The False Princess

A 2013 Beehive YA Fiction Nominee

Written by Eilis O’Neal

The False Princess is an enchanting story about Nalia, the Princess of Thorvaldor and heir to the throne. When she turns 16 she is told she is not Nalia, but Cinda, a commoner who has been used as a decoy to protect the real Nalia. Cinda is then sent to live with an aunt she has never known. She finds strength to endure, magical powers, and a romance with the boy in her life, Kiernan. I believe any young adult, and any old adult, will enjoy reading this adventurous fairy tale.

  1. Cinda and her good friend Kiernan go on a great adventure to research and discover just what really happened to the real Princess. It will be a popular book in our library, as it has adventure for both young men and young women. It’s also available as an eBook!
