Fer is a young girl who is discovering that she belongs in two different worlds. Her background is a mystery that only she can solve. She is led to a reflecting pool in the forest that uncovers the Way. As she enters into this pool she finds an enchanting but dangerous land. It is a magical land where creatures can take on the form of human or animal. Fer discovers who she is, a healer and a warrior. This is a great story about good verses evil. I would recommend this book for 5th grade and up. I really liked it!

Rating: ★★★★★ (5 stars)

Fer, the main character of this story, is led on an adventure through Way to a mystical world. The Lady is an evil ruler of creatures that are part human and part animal. Fer tries to set the seasons right in this world. Can she save spring?

I did not enjoy reading this book. I thought that this is another attempt at the same storyline that I have read before.
