Breakthrough (Red Zone #2)

breakthroughWritten by A.L. Priest

Efram is new to the town of Troy, Ohio. Trojans are the high school mascot and football is very big here. Efram is tall and as the coach says “he is the perfect build for a football player,” but Efram has never played before. His mother thinks the sport is too rough. The coach wants him to get his parents to sign the permission form and show up for practice. He is excited to play. He finds he enjoys playing defense and that he is very good.

Efram makes friends with a boy whose nickname is Flick. Flick is too small to play but he knows football. When the Trojans have trouble winning Efram teams up with Flick to save the team.

This is a great sports story.
