Sleeping Cinderella and other Princess Mix-ups

I love the idea here: change up well-known fairy tales and throw in a lesson. Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel are dissatisfied with their lives, so they switch. At first they are happy, but they soon see that the “grass isn’t always greener on the other side.” They go back to their own lives and make changes to improve what they had to begin with. My one wish is that the story had been developed a bit more, but for young readers it is just fine as it is.

  1. I enjoyed this book and so do the first and second graders at my school. It is a fun fairy tale twist with a great message.
