The Queen’s Hat

The Queen's HatBy Steve Antony

A sudden gust of wind sets off a marvelous adventure for the Queen, lots of Queen’s men, and one very special hat. Just where will that hat land? Following a hysterical, epic hat chase, the Queen is reunited with her hat — and the royal baby!

A fun and easy way to learn about places in London. The back of the book gives more detail about each location to which the hat travels. The illustrations are simple red, black, and blue pictures. Kids will enjoy looking for the hat and seeing what predicaments the palace guards get into.

  4. When I read “The Queen’s Hat” to the students, I used my best English accent.
It was fun for them to learn about London. We compared it to landmarks in the US.

  5. What a fun sounding read aloud! Most of us will never travel to London so reading about it would be the next best thing.

  6. The give away for this title is finished. Renee Larsen was the winner. Thanks everyone for looking at the site and commenting. There will be more of these give aways in the future.
