Red Riding Hood, Superhero

Red Riding Hood, SuperheroFar Out Fairy Tales

By Otis Frampton

This is a quick, easy, and fun graphic novel. It is a fun twist on the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. It is part of a series that have the fairy tale characters as amped-up, super-powered heroes. Students who have read and review this book have loved it. They enjoyed the twist, the art and even the comprehension questions at the end. It is a win win book and I will be looking at getting others in the series.

  1. We got the Billy Goats Gruff in this series. The majority of the book is made to be like a video game, which was disappointing. Though the illustrations are fun, this book sounds more enjoyable.
