Alphonse, That Is Not OK to Do!

Written and Illustrated by Daisy Hirst

Natalie mostly loves her little brother Alphonse being there – they name the pigeons, bounce things off the bunk beds, have stories in the chair and make lots of fun stuff together. But, when Natalie catches Alphonse eating her most favorite book, well – that is not OK!
Kids will be able to relate to the monster’s sibling relationship. The moral of the story is well taught without being over the top. The illustrations are simple but expressive. Student’s who have siblings will like this story. Teachers could use this to talk about making mistakes and how to repair them or how to accept apologies.
