The Wonderful Book

Book Giveaway! (Leave a Comment)

Have you ever found something and were not sure what its purpose was? A rabbit, a grumpy bear, mice, a fox, and a little pink worm all have a different idea on how they would use a book. It takes a curious boy to help them discover what a great thing a book can be. This is a fun book that has a simple story line that will captivate young readers. The illustrations are simple and beautifully done. It is fun to see how the expressions of the animals are illustrated. This would be a fun book to use to explain the proper way to treat a book.

  1. I actually have this book & its a real treasure. I’ve read it to the kids & they loved it. I highly recommend it for our libraries.

  2. After seeing some of the books that have been written on in my library to day I think that I need to read it so all of the upper grades will be reminded of how books are to be treated.

  3. Thank you for the review. I’ve added this one to our wish list. It is great to have a recommendation for a new way to review care of our precious books with our students.

  4. This would be a great book to read at the beginning of the school year to teach proper book care! The students can never be reminded too much about this!

  5. This sounds like it would be a good one for the beginning of the year. The cover illustration is very cute.

Any book about books is a treat for me personally and if it teaches the kids how to treat books it is a double treat…. or is that now a triple treat? :)

  7. What a delightful exploring experience can be had. This would be a lovely
book to add to our library.

  8. Its always great to have a book about books. I would love to share this book with the students at Copper Hills.
