Around the World on Eighty Legs

This is a fun book of poetry about animals around the world. It is filled with short, humorous poems that describe various animals, such as “Ocelot”

It may be true
that ocelot
has got
an awful lot
of spots

(an awful,
awful,
awful lot).

But please
don’t call them
polak dots.

There are pronouncing helps for many unfamiliar animals. There is also a “Menagerie of Facts” at the end of the book.
