Levi Katznelson’s older brother Boaz had everything going for him. Instead of going straight to college, he decided to join the marines after graduating from high school. This story explains the emotional struggle those that serve in the military go through. Levi explains how much the military has changed his brother. Since Boaz has returned home, many things have changed. Boaz won’t ride in cars, he screams in his sleep, and he doesn’t share his life with his family. Levi decides to join him on his walking adventure so he can reconnect with his brother.

  1. I cannot believe I am the 1st to leave a comment. I do not have this book. I will put it on my summer reading list if I am truly first.

  2. I read this book recently and i felt very grateful to Dana Reinhardt because while i don’t have a brother in the military, i have an uncle in the military. And in this book the way she describes how they are when they come home could not be more correct. I recommend this book to anyone, because it is for those who have family who have served (are serving), those who are serving (have served), those who know someone who has served or is serving, those who support our military everyday in every kind of way, and those who don’t. On a final note, every member of my family, near or far, has read this book now, including my uncle.
