A group of Chinese friends dealing with life and getting ready for college. Actually one is not Chinese, but considers herself Chinese on the inside. They face great pressures, including the very Chinese mother of one who will not allow her to have a boyfriend, even though she really has one. The book deals with friendships, trials, and goals that many girls will face in their high school years. Erin, the main character, also writes an advice column anonymously. Her advise even goes to some of her friends and it is frightening to her when they pick up on that advise none to wisely.
