Circle, Square, Moose

circlesquaremooseWritten by Kelly Bingham, Illustrated by Paul O Zelinsky

Circle, Square, Moose by Kelly Bingham is a fun book about shapes. This is the same author who wrote Z Is For Moose. Moose and Zebra are returning characters in this book. The book does a good job describing shapes and giving examples of different shapes in our everyday life. At the same time children will laugh at Moose’s antics to get into the story and the narrator’s frustration with Moose ruining the story line. The illustrations are a little cartoonish, though still real enough to relate to, which adds to the humor. So it’s a great way to reinforce the different shapes while having fun doing it!

  1. You are so right Susan. I love that Moose too! It is always fun to read books that make kids laugh. Their laughter is like music and just makes me happy too.
