Bakari Katari Johnson is having a bad day. His best friend, Wardell, has put his name “Bakari” on the list of candidates for hall monitor. The only other name on the list is Tariq Thomas, the golden boy of Thurgood Cleavon Wilson Elementary and the only hall monitor the class has ever had. Keisha, Tariq’s cousin, is determined to show Bakari that running against her cousin is not a good idea! As if the day is not bad enough, Bakari falls into a blue disk and is whisked into a icy cold world. An icy zombie demands that his ring is returned. Unfortunately, Bakari has no idea what he is talking about. Bakari must find the ring or zombies will be unleashed into this world. Can Bakari step up and find the courage his grandpa says is in him?
