The Fog Diver

The Fog DiverWritten by Joel Ross

If you are looking for an adventure that is a quick read, this is for you. Our world became covered in pollution. Tiny machines called nanites were created to rid the world of the deadly haze. Unfortunately, as is often the case in stories, the nanites went overboard and started killing the cause of the pollution. Humans had to rush to the mountain tops for safety. No one can survive the nanite fog…except Chess. He was born in the fog and has special abilities, which he must hide for fear of discovery by Lord Kodoc, the evil ruler of the mountain. The story is exciting, the characters well-developed, and the sequel anticipated. A great read for all, especially pre-teens.

  1. I really like this book too. It is kind of a dystopian/dickens-like story for the pre-teen age kids and full of action, adventure and suspense. I really liked the characters too. Great way to tell a story of living above the Earth that is covered with a deadly fog.

  2. This sounds like a book that kids who enjoyed the Fablehaven or Spirit Animals series would enjoy – and who doesn’t like a tale of action and adventure! I’d love to read it and then put it in our library.
