This high-energy, fast-paced graphic novel is set in 1860. It is about redheaded 12 year-old twins Alex and Cleo Dodge. They find adventure and trouble as they search for their father and sometimes each other. The twins join the Black Hook Gang and are caught by the police trying to pull off a heist. They head to New Orleans. Alex is shanghaied onto a ship. Cleo stows away onto a steamer. Both trying to make it to San Francisco. They are followed by pirates who want the heirloom they have. Throw in another set of redheaded twins and you have and exciting adventure.
