Luna & Me

luna-meThe True Story of a Girl Who Lived in a Tree to Save a Forest

Written and Illustrated by Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw

Luna & Me is the true story of a young woman who lived in a tree in the Redwood Forest to save it from being cut down and harvested. The author portrays her as a young girl in the book. Parts of the story have been simplified but the message “everyone can make a difference” is the same. The author also does a wonderful job with the illustrations which will appeal to younger and older kids alike.
