What is Battle of the Books?
Battle of the Books is a Family Fued style competition in which teams test their knowledge of the 15 books on our official book lists. 3rd-4th graders compete together and 5th-6th graders compete together. This district competition features 5th-6th Grade teams from schools throughout the district. A separate, smaller district competition for interested 3rd-4th Grade teams will occur later in the month.
How Does It Work?
The video below demonstrates a Battle of the Books competition round. In the district competition, all teams will compete in three rounds, with the top-scoring teams afterwards participating in prize-winning battles before the awards ceremony.
